Candy Corn Marshmallows (Day 17)

This one is really easy. You only need four things:

  1. Mini marshmallows
  2. Yellow food safe food coloring marker
  3. Orange food safe food coloring marker
  4. Too much time on your hands

Simply use your markers and paint the bottom and one third up the sides with the yellow marker, make a stripe around the middle with the orange marker, and leave the top third white.

Then drop them in your hot chocolate!

If you have large marshmallows, you can paint them and use them in Smores. On second thought, don’t do that. If I am in need of a quick and easy idea towards the end of the month, I may use that one.

About Ellie's Bites Decorated Cookies

I am a wife, mommy of two, and a part time dental hygienist. I love to cook, specifically- to bake, even more specifically- to bake cookies. Right now, my husband works a lot... A LOT, so I am home with the kiddos- A LOT. One day, when they are a bit older, I would love to do something professional with my cookies. For now, I make them, I post pictures, people comment. Hopefully my name gets out there, and I can improve and grow. If you're wondering why I am called "Ellie's Bites" when, in fact, my name is Stephanie... well, maybe one day that will be a blog post. :)

  1. Adorable!! I love them! What a great idea for an easy fun treat. They would make a cute gift with a package of cocoa mix. Thanks for sharing!!
